Hands Up Baby Hands Up, Two!

Flight Centre’s Andrea Feed joins us again with part 2 from Club Med, Punta Cana.
The first sign this vacation was going to be great was the transfer time from the airport to the resort of 10 minutes. Yes you heard me, TEN MINUTES! The resort itself is gorgeous and a really big property so, even though there were a lot of people around, I never really felt like it was that busy. The reception area is large with lots of seating and the excursions desk and boutique are very accessible.
This resort really is a family resort. From client feedback and what I could see Club Med has one of the best kids programs around. There are so many activities for the kids including sports, their own pool, games, circus/trapeze, and they all seemed to be having a blast (parents did too).
The food at club med is always amazing. There are two restaurants in Punta Cana with one overlooking the ocean and the main one further into the resort. The main restaurant is massive and has something to satisfy everyone. There are always staples like pizza, chicken fingers, burgers, fries, salads, pasta, lots of seafood and fish, and the biggest bread table you have ever seen. There are always daily specialties such as sushi, curry, lobster, etc. For snacks there is always lots of fresh fruit and cookie, cakes, pies, ice cream, etc. To top it off there is a French chef who makes crepes right in front of you.
Ok this is important, WCB (otherwise known as white chocolate bread) is to die for. If you have ever been to Club Med you know what I am talking about; they’re famous for it! I know it might sound weird but it is like a cinnamon bun minus the cinnamon and add white chocolate, yum! It’s served in a loaf and they have it out at every meal. They have dark chocolate too but the white is my favourite thing ever and I promise you will love it! If you want to hear a really funny story about WCB message me and I’ll share!
There are a number of room categories and the whole property has recently been renovated with millions of dollars invested. The rooms are great with double sinks in the bathroom, a separate living area, bright colors, and (in the deluxe rooms) a walk in closet.
Each night there’s a show which is usually put on by the GOs (staff at Club Med) and sometimes the guests participate. The evening parties always with a theme with music pumping and drinks flowing.
Club Med, Punta Cana is highlighted on the Flight Centre Travel Map.
