I’ve been to a lot of great places in Australia (in fact I even blogged about them). But there is one place that warms my heart every time I think about it… and that place is Couran Cove. This hidden gem is located just down the coast from Brisbane on South Stradbroke Island.

After taking a beautiful ferry ride over and embracing a warm Aussie sunset, I found myself along with the Social Media Team at a beautiful Oasis with all sorts of animals frolicking about.  It was a mere five minutes before I found myself standing in front of a Wallaby.

After settling in and wandering around the resort, I discovered this place was too good to be true. With a Koala Haven and Rainforest right in the resort, it’s no wonder why they call this place an eco-tourist experience. It wasn’t long before I hopped on a bicycle and made my way to hang out with the Koalas.

If you want the truly Australian experience that’s off the beaten path, Couran Cove is the place! Whether you’re on a family vacay, hanging with friends or with your colleagues, this resort has something for everyone. Oh and did I mention it has 22 kilometres of Pacific Ocean surf beach? Forget overcrowded tourist hot spots, because this one offers complete serenity with a pristine white beach.

I couldn’t have asked for a better ending to my weekend than with a beautiful night cruise on the Imagine Cruise Ship.  Two decks of non-stop fun and scenery that will take your breathe away. Surfers Paradise has a much better view from the water. Trust me!

If I ever get married, you can bet on me spending the celebration on this quaint cruise and enjoying my time with friends and family at Couran Cove. But I guess I should probably find a husband first…
