As if summer isn’t already one of our favourite seasons of the year, we decided to brighten things up even more with a $10,000 Dream Vacation Giveaway. People from all over Canada jumped at the chance to win this incredible giveaway by entering on our website or Facebook page.

Out of thousands of entries, we are pleased to announce that Sherry Goodwin from Halifax, Nova Scotia is the winner of our $10,000 Dream Vacation contest! Sherry has just received $10,000 in travel vouchers to be used on any travel product offered by Flight Centre.

Here was her reaction when we called to tell her the good news:

 
 
Sherry is a Paralegal Instructor at Eastern College in Halifax and proud mom of two sons and step mom to two more boys.

When we called her to tell her the good news, she couldn’t believe it!

“When I received the call at work, a co-worker nearly had to pick me up off the floor.  It was such an amazing surprise.  I couldn’t believe it! 

I have absolutely no idea where we’ll go, but we definitely  want to make sure it’s a vacation of a lifetime! I have always dreamed of going to Egypt, getting a water bungalow in Fiji, touring through Europe or going to the outback of Australia.  The possibilities are endless, and we’re going to take some time to decide for sure.

This is still so absolutely unbelievable and amazing.  A simple “thank you” doesn’t seem to be near enough, but I can’t say it enough.  You have my thanks and gratitude for this wonderful adventure we’re about to embark on!  Thank you Flight Centre!”
