Video of the Week: Everest Base Camp Trek
June 22nd, 2012 by Alicia TaggioAs co-founder of the Nomading Film Festival, Bassam Tarazi believes that we are all filmmakers no matter what kind of camera you use. In October 2011, Bassam along with 11 others trekked from Lukla to Everest Base Camp. To prove his point, he bought himself a cheap camera and captured both the physical demands of the trip along with the reasons behind why we do such things in life. This video moved me in such a huge way and it’s one I definitely think is worth sharing:
To learn more about the Nomading Film Festival check out their website, follow them on Twitter, or join their Facebook page. Their motto is three simple words: Engage. Explore. Record (and I couldn’t agree with it more).
I’ll be heading down to New York City this weekend for their annual Nomading Film Festival so be sure to follow my tweets @Taggio and @FlightCentreCa for all the fun.
