Eligibility

Contest is open to residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence as of January 1st, 2010. The following persons and their dependents are not eligible to enter or win: employees of The Flight Shops Inc. dba FLIGHT CENTRE, Infinity Holidays, FC Associates, FCm Travel Solutions and their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertisers, sponsors, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) of each of the above.

Terms and Conditions

This prize is non-refundable, non-transferable and has no cash value. Tour space is subject to availability at time of booking. Some restrictions apply, and travel blackout dates are from September to October, 2010. Travel must be completed by Dec 31, 2010. Prize must be booked at least 2 months prior to departure, as space can be limited. Departure date is subject to confirmation from Global head office. Not combinable with any other promotion, air promotion, brochure discounts, incentives or offers. This is a Non-commissionable product. Passport/visa fees where applicable, travel insurance, return transportation to your home airport, beverages, meals not detailed in the itinerary, tips to the Tour Director or local guides, excess baggage, pre and post tour hotel accommodations, optional excursions and personal expenses are not included with and must be covered by the winner. A valid passport and/or visa is required and it is the winners responsibility to ensure they have the necessary travel documents.

By accepting a prize, the winner/s agrees to Flight Centre and its designees’ use of their name/s and /or photograph for advertising and publicity purposes without compensation. Flight Centre reserves the right to cancel or modify the contest if fraud or technical failures compromise the integrity of the contest as determined by Flight Centre in its sole discretion.
Flight Centre is not responsible for any lost, late, stolen, illegible, incomplete, mutilated, misdirected or postage due rule requests any associated information as a result of prize claim/s. Proof of identification and eligibility will be required before claiming the prize. This includes Name, Address and Birthdate.

Flight Centre will not be held responsible for telephone, technical, network, online, electronic, computer hardware or software failures of any kind, misdirected, stolen, incomplete, garbled or delayed Internet/e-mail computer transmissions on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or on the website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this Contest.

Frequency of Entries, Use of Multiple Email Addresses & Posting in Public Forums

Only one entry per Form or Essay will be counted. Selection of Winners and Notification Winners will be selected from the list of eligible entries for any given competition/giveaway. The decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winner must respond, and confirm their mailing address, within 7 BUSINESS days from the date of the notification attempt, after this it will be assumed to be invalid and a new winner will be selected. If any prize notification, or any prize, is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be awarded to an alternate winner from the pool of entries.

Winners assume all liability for any damages caused or claimed to be caused by participation or by any prize, and release The Flight Shops Inc. dba FLIGHT CENTRE, Infinity Holidays, and FCm Travel Solutions from any such liability. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission to use winner's name, city and Province (e.g. Jane Doe Vancouver, BC) for purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity without additional compensation. Flight Centre guarantee that the personal details, including email address, of entrants will not be publicized, rented or sold - unless express permission has been given by the entrant.

Your Chances of Winning

Chances of winning are determined by the total number of Forms completed online at www.flightcentre.ca and Essays submitted to contestessays@flightcentre.ca. All provincial and local laws and regulations apply. In the event that any giveaway is compromised in any way, electronically or otherwise, that is beyond the control of The Flight Shops Inc. dba FLIGHT CENTRE, FC Associates, Infinity Holidays, and FCm Travel Solutions, we reserve the right to withdraw the giveaway and award the prize from among entries received prior to the date of the withdrawal.
