Drinking and Dining in Detail:
Three signature restaurants serve up a diverse culinary offering; Asian dining at J.H. Yee's, Caribbean-inspired bistro dishes at the hip Eighty20 Bistro and authentic Puerto Rican fare at Coladas. From the latest fusion to traditional fare, come see what they have to offer you.
Eighty20 Bistro - Against the backdrop of a minimalist décor in shades of black, white, and orange, this South Beach-inspired bistro features a cuisine that ranges from modern interpretations of classics, such as the Baby Kobe Burgers, to full on fusion dishes such as the Grilled Caribbean Jerk Shrimp with Coconut Risotto and Pineapple ‘Pico de Gallo’. In the bistro tradition, a great variety of salads, sandwiches, and tapas are among the menu offerings.
Open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, from 6:30 am to 11:00 pm.
Coladas - Featuring authentic Puerto Rican cuisine, the setting is reminiscent of a 70’s tavern, updated with a stylish décor in a rich palette of jewel-tone colors. The walls in the bar are covered with album jackets from local pop artists and other stars from Puerto Rico’s “Nueva Ola” music. Meanwhile, a shaded veranda allows clients to sit outdoors as the sunset gives way to the Isla Verde nightlife. In honor of its name, the restaurant features an extensive menu of signature fresh fruit frozen coladas: Passionate Parcha (passion fruit), Sexy Razz, Sunset Tamarind, and Tango Mango, to name a few.
J. H. Yee's - Experience the Orient… and an exotic array of Asian delicacies in beautifully appointed surroundings! J.H. Yee’s Asian Bistro blends the elements of “Ying & Yang” expertly, creating a masterful and exotic, far eastern dining experience.
David's Cookies - Smells like fresh baked cookies? You bet! David’s cookies save the day with fresh baked cookies, pastries, blends of coffee and herbal teas.
Kid's Corner:
"Fun is for all ages and more memorable when shared with your loved ones."
During the day, let the children loose to enjoy the Water SprayPark located in the hotel’s pool area. Kids can splash and play on the water deck, as parents bask in the sun, enjoy food and drinks around the pool, or relax in the Jacuzzi. Afterwards, challenge junior or the little princess to a game of chess with knights and pawns almost as tall as them!
All that fun in the sun is bound to make kids hungry. At the Holiday Inn San Juan poolside terrace, children can order their favorites, such as freshly-baked pizza and chicken tenders, as well as fresh fruit, juices and sodas, cookies and ice cream. When they are ready to cool off, children can head for the air-conditioned game room, located on the first floor by the pool area.
