Fulfilling My Childhood Dream in Egypt

"When I was 10 years old, we did a study at school on the Seven Wonders of the Ancient world. From that moment on I was fascinated with the Sphinx and Egypt. When you stand in front of this amazing piece of art with the back drop of 4000 year old Pyramids you can’t help but be in awe. It was my goal at that young age to see where these magnificent structures stood and On The Go fulfilled that dream for me this past month.

From the moment I arrived to the moment I left I felt well looked after and safe. It is no wonder Waleed (our tour guide) was nominated and one of the top 5 finalists of ‘Top tour Guide” in the world. We started in Cairo then down on the overnight train to Luxor, and I will add its well worth upgrading to the sleeper train!
