This multi-million dollar museum provides an in-depth look at the infamous history of the Golden Triangle's previous role in world opium trade. The museum focuses on opium, opiates, narcotics and the drug eradication measures carried out by Thailand's late Princess Mother through intriguing interactive displays.
Longtail Boat Trips
The only way to see the Mekong River is on a longtail boat. Visit the ancient Northern Thai walled city of Chiang Saen, float by the village of Chang Khong and speed over to neighbouring Don Sao island for a brief encounter with the charming culture of Laos.
