The Melia, Tides, Tropical and Fairy Tale packages are an additional US $540. The Civil Ceremony is legally binding and requires the couple be at the resort a minimum of 48 hours prior. Ask our wedding coordinator for all paperwork required in order to meet the Dominican Republic Government specifications. Note that civil ceremonies can take up seven full business days to confirm.
Upgrade to a Catholic Ceremony
The Melia, Tides Tropical and Fairy Tale packages are an additional US $540. This charge is for the ceremony only, no legal fees are included. The couple must be already legally married in their country and be at the resort a minimum of 48 hours prior to the ceremony. Ask our wedding coordinator for all paperwork required in order to meet the Dominican Republic Catholic church specifications.
