Rex Halcyon Cove  

  Located on one of Antigua’s finest beaches, the Halcyon offers its guests a comprehensive selection of the finest activities on the island. Gallop across the white sands on magnificent horses or get immersed in the warm salt waters of the Caribbean with their in house scuba experts. Whatever your demands the Halcyon staff will ensure that the Halcyon provides every opportunity your vacation requires.
  The Halcyon Cove Resort's beach frontage extends 275 meters (300 yards) wide and 32 meters (35 yards) deep and leads to a rustic, open-air restaurant raised above the sea at the end of a pier. In all, the beach stretches a 800 meters (a half-mile) along Dickenson Bay. There's also a 23-meter (75-foot) kidney-shape pool. Use of kayaks, snorkeling gear, windsurfers, and sailboats are part of the All Inclusive Plan. Rental watersports include personal watercraft, parasailing, and scuba diving.
  Please note that the Halcyon Cove is a non-smoking hotel. Guests are of course welcome to smoke on the beach and in designated smoking areas in the resort (all restaurants, areas serving food, rooms, covered bars and lounges are non-smoking).

Dining & Drinking in Detail:

The Arawak Terrace - A friendly and informal buffet-style restaurant with a limited a la carte menu. (All Inclusive Plan guests ordering from à la carte menu must pay for meals.)
Breakfast between 07:30 - 10:30 / Lunch between 12:00 - 14:30 / Afternoon Tea between 15:00 - 16:30 / Dinner between 19:00 - 21:30.

Warri Pier - Romantic a la carte dining on a private pier over the sea. Choices include lobster bisque, fried Brie with mango-pineapple chutney, grilled lobster, grilled red snapper, steak, pork loin with walnut-apricot sauce. Dress code: long pants, collared shirts, closed-toe shoes for men. (All Inclusive Plan guests are given fixed-amount vouchers to apply toward price of dinners at this restaurant.)
Dinner between 18:30 - 22:00.
Closed on Sundays.

Beach Barbecue - Lunch between 12:00 - 15:00 (limited opening). Twice-weekly buffet themed dinners.

Carib Bar - The perfect place for cooling off during the heat of the day. Located on the beach, the Carib Bar is open from 10:30 until 18:30.

Ciboney Lounge - Halcyon Cove's cocktail lounge. Expansive second-floor carpeted lounge with mirrors, white walls, pastel accents and dance floor. One of the locations for evening entertainment and dancing.

Warri Pier Bar - Even if you don't want to sample Warri Pier's delicious a la carte menu, it's still a great place to relax with a cocktail and watch the sun go down. 
Open from 18:30.
This is a non smoking bar (due to proximity to the restaurant).

Eating out - You are welcome to dine out at one of our other resorts in Antigua and the staff at reception will be happy to make a reservation for you. Why not try the Heron Restaurant at Blue Heron or Il Vigento su Mare at Hawksbill, specialising in Italian cuisine and lobster. Reservations are essential, as these restaurants do not open every night.

Evening dress code - At Halcyon Cove we dress for dinner (smart-casual), and men must wear collared shirts and long trousers in all bars and restaurants in the evening. Please feel free to wear t-shirts, shorts or beach wraps at breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea.

  The resort offers 210 guestrooms in seven two- and three-story buildings. All rooms feature balconies or ground-floor patios with chairs and cocktail tables. Decor and furnishings in all rooms feature white tile floors, white walls and ceilings, rattan furniture, and tropical-print fabrics. In-room safes are available (surcharges).
