The Verandah sits on 30 acres on Antigua's northeast coast. A white sand beach meets the bay, which is protected by a coral reef. The waters shelter indigenous marine life. Devil's Bridge National Park is a half-mile away. The hotel itself was built with the environment in mind, incorporating natural materials whenever possible; the property is populated by low-rise structures, meant to blend in with the surroundings.
The Verandah offers the perfect mix of outdoor activity and relaxation on pristine white-sand beaches, in refreshing pools, or participating in any of the plenty of outdoor sports both in the water and on shore. Whether lounging and listening to the tropical breeze or enjoying an active vacation, Verandah guests will enjoy their vacation in breathtaking natural surroundings. While at the beach, why not take advantage of complimentary non-motorized water activities such as windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, and catamaran sailing. All of the equipment can be found at the Water Sports Centre and if you’re new at any of the sports, instructors are ready to help you get on your way.
For those who want to really explore beneath the surface, diving is available at our sister resort, St James’s Club which offers guests excursions to more than 20 dive sites. Instruction is available for beginner and advanced divers, as well as for children aged 10 and up. Equipment rental is included in the price for instruction. Single-tank, two-tank and night dives are available for an additional charge. Diving sites include Cades Reef, part of an underwater park, and the wreck of the Andes, a three-mast merchant ship that sank more than a century ago.
If golf is your game, try out one of the 18-hole courses nearby. The Jolly Harbour Golf Club is a 5,587 yard par 71 course designed by Karl Litton and nestled amid a beautiful tropical backdrop. The Cedar Valley Golf Club, a 6,157 yard par 70 course, offers stunning views of the surrounding hilltops and Caribbean Sea.

Location: Beachfront, North East Coast. 30-minute drive from VC Bird Airport.
