Day 1-2 ARRIVE HONOLULU
Aloha and welcome to the beautiful Hawaiian islands! After being greeted with smiling faces and a traditional flower lei, you will be transferred to your elegant beachfront resort, which has welcomed visitors to Waikiki since 1905. With its expansive pool, stretch of golden beach, luxurious guest rooms and the first and only beach front spa in the area, the Moana Surfrider surely deserves its nickname as the "First Lady of Waikiki." Settle into island time and relax or enjoy a dip in the Pacific or a stroll on the famous beach. Gather at 6 p.m. with your fellow guests and Tour Director for a Welcome Reception and Hawaiian appetizers, known as pupus here on the islands.(Welcome Reception)

Day 2-3 HONOLULU
Hawaii is known around the world for its great surfing and this morning you will get a chance to meet one of the famous Waikiki beach boys who will "talk story" with you about surfing and share with you their ocean skills storytelling talents and aloha. If you feel adventurous, paddling out and standing up on your big board is optional. The rest of your day is at leisure — perhaps explore the Waikiki International Marketplace and its more than 100 carts, shops and artisan stands. Alternatively, relax at your oceanfront resort, be pampered at the spa, sip cocktails on the verandah, or read a book under an umbrella on the sandy beach or poolside… the choice is yours and the options are nearly endless.(Full Breakfast)

Day 3-4 HONOLULU SIGHTSEEING
Begin your day with a little island history, starting with a private guided tour of Iolani Palace, the former home of Hawaiian royalty — the only official royal residence in the United States. Explore downtown Honolulu and view the current State Capitol, the King Kamehameha Statue at Aliiolani Hale and Washington Place, the Greek-revival-style palace where Queen Liliuokalani was arrested during the overthrow of the Hawaiian Kingdom. Visit Pearl Harbor and the poignant USS Arizona Memorial. Take a moment to honour the American soldiers who gave their lives during the surprise attack that launched the United States into World War II. Head to Punchbowl National Cemetery and its rolling green hills bursting with flowers. Meet a WWII Veteran and explore this famous site where those who died in the Pacific naval war are buried. This evening watch the sun dip below the horizon as you enjoy elegant ocean-side dining and classic modern cuisine at a Highlight Dinner at the award-winning Beachhouse restaurant at your resort.(Full Breakfast / Highlight Dinner)

Day 4-5 DEPART HONOLULU - MAUI
Soar high above the Pacific and enjoy the island views as you fly to Maui, the Magic Isle. Head for famed Kaanapali Beach, once designated the best beach in the United States. Your home for the next three nights is the luxurious beachfront Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas. Relax and enjoy the spectacular views from your private balcony, the sumptuous cuisine, beautiful pool and a host of activities. This afternoon, choose from three included pastimes: will it be a lesson to learn how to hula dance or play the ukulele, or a visit to the resort's world-class spa, voted by SpaFinder's readers as one of the Top 10 New Getaway Spas?(Full Breakfast)

Day 5-6 MAUI SIGHTSEEING
Today is a journey for all five senses; tasting, smelling, touching, seeing and hearing, while experiencing the eclectic homegrown specialities of Maui. Follow the little-travelled back roads to explore the island's unique boutique farms. Take a deep breath — you may think you have been transported to Provence, but what you're smelling is simply the enticing scent of the royal lavender of Kula at Alii Kula Lavender Farm. Learn how lavender is grown as you tour the farm; then indulge your palate as you sip lavender tea and sample scones baked with lavender. At the Surfing Goat Dairy, winner of 16 national awards, try the award-winning goat cheeses; then detour to Kula Country Farms where you'll learn why Maui's sweet onions are truly no kaoi — the best. Top off your cornucopia of tasting with a Highlight Lunch served al fresco on the beach at I'0 restaurant, renowned for its contemporary Pacific cuisine. This afternoon, stroll the shops and galleries along Front Street in Lahaina and enjoy an evening at leisure.(Full Breakfast / Highlight Lunch)

Day 6-7 MAUI AT LEISURE
Today is yours to explore further or succumb to the pleasures of your resort. If you're ready for more adventure, rise before dawn for an optional tour to greet the sunrise from atop a volcano. Perhaps embark on a cruise to spot the migrating humpback whales, breaching and spy hopping (in season) or just relax and enjoy the beach and spa at your luxurious resort overlooking a spectacular stretch of Kaanapali Beach. This afternoon, meet with a local naturalist for an enlightening talk about the ever-changing geology and the formation of the Hawaiian Archipelago. Tonight, celebrate Hawaii's culture and traditions at an authentic Hawaiian Luau Highlight Dinner. Sip tropical cocktails, sample traditional poi and roasted pig, as well as a feast of Hawaiian specialities, and enjoy the lilting Hawaiian songs and hula dances.(Full Breakfast / Highlight Dinner)

Day 7-8 DEPART MAUI - HAWAII
Fly on to the Big Island of Hawaii, arriving in Hilo. Wind your way through rolling volcanic hills and the lush foliage of the "wet side" of the island to visit Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the park is home to the world's largest volcano, Mauna Loa, and one of the most active, Kilauea. Visit the Jaggar Museum to learn about the lava flows and explosive beginnings of the Hawaiian Islands. Look down on the Kilauea Caldera and there's even the chance to walk through the Thurston Lava tube, a massive, hollow chamber formed when lava drained from it some 500 years ago. After lunch, travel along the Hamakua shoreline on the Kohala Coast to the spectacular Fairmont Orchid, your home for the next three nights. At this exceptional resort, every detail has been designed to immerse you in the natural beauty and cultured relaxation of the Hawaiian Islands. From your distinctive guest room to the personalised service, striking public spaces and enchanted setting by the sea, you won't soon forget your stay in lovely Kona. This evening, indulge in Hawaiian elegance with a four-course Highlight Dinner with wine at the award-winning Brown's Beach House Restaurant, the place for the quintessential island fine dining experience located just steps from shore.(Full Breakfast / Lunch / Highlight Dinner)

Day 8-9 HAWAII SIGHTSEEING
This morning soak up the atmosphere on a guided walk through coffee and macademia nut orchards, and the only cacao farm in North America that grows, processes and produces chocolate. You'll be treated to their unique American Estate Grown Chocolate and taste a cup of 100% pure Kona Coffee. Then step back in time at Puuhonua o Honaunau (place of refuge) National Historical Park, a restored religious sanctuary designed to keep stories and traditions of Old Hawaii alive. Explore the historic town of Kailua, viewing Hulihee Palace, Mokuaikaua Church and St Michael's Church. On the way back to the resort, stop at historic Anna Ranch, beautifully set against the backdrop of Waimea's lush green hills. Anna Ranch embodies the history of ranching with an emphasis on Hawaiian ranch life in the early 20th Century. Enjoy this rare opportunity to visit the restored ranch house and outbuildings, and meet the on-site blacksmith and Master saddle maker and leather crafter who can be seen in action most days.(Full Breakfast)
