Day 1-2 Depart for Europe

Day 2-3 Arrive Athens
On arrival in Athens, check in to your hotel & take some time to explore this open-air museum. You could honour the birthplace of drama by climbing around the massive Theatre of Dionysus or get the background on Ancient Greece at the National Archaeological Museum. Otherwise, experience Athens’ urban heart, take off into the streets and find a hole-in-the-wall food joint, where you can try the famous souvlaki.This evening meet up with your Tour Manager & fellow Contiki travellers then wrap up the day on the shady slopes beneath the Acropolis and jump start your trip with an optional dinner in the rustic district of Plaka, where traditional tavernas spill out onto the pavements. Tonight’s festive atmosphere is perfect for toasting the start of the tour.Accommodations: Hotel

Day 3-4 Athens to Mykonos
This morning it’s time to start the adventure as you hop on board a ferry & head to the popular Aegean paradise of Mykonos. If you’re feeling up for it, start your adventure right & get your island bearings on a walking tour before indulging in a tasty, local meal.Accommodations: GuesthouseMeals: Breakfast (1) day

Day 4-5 Mykonos
Mykonos is famous for its blissful beaches and party culture and windmills. No matter what you’re after, chances are this island has got it! You’ll soon understand why this happening hub draws people from all walks of life, from jet-setters to backpackers. In your free time, head into Mykonos town and wander through the maze of tiny streets lined by whitewashed, cube-shaped houses. Maybe grab a table in the village and snack on fresh local specialties, like olives, feta and tzatziki dip. Chill for the evening with friends on the island’s world famous beaches and cool off in the azure waters. Wrap up the day with a drink at one of Mykonos’ hip bars and watch the sun go down.Accommodations: Guesthouse

Day 5-6 Mykonos to Paros
Head through the Cycladic islands to the ultra chilled island of Paros, with its traditional Greek vibes, cool beaches & cute fishing villages. Hit the beach, shop or maybe head to Naoussa village for a look at this cute seaside spot. It’s picture postcard perfect with its tiny fishing harbour & locals going about their day. The harbour is surrounded by cute little restaurants & cafés, so it’s the perfect place to people watch - maybe sip on some ouzo & sample some of the regional specialities like Kritiko salad & delicious local seafood. Later, hit up the party hub, Parikia, by night. Situated right on the beach, it’s the essential place to head for some partying & nightlife whilst you’re on the island. With its range of bars & cool clubs there is something for everyone here. Accommodations: Guesthouse

Day 6-7 Paros
Spend the day relaxing on island time. There’s the option of a cruise on a typical Greek boat, a Caique, to some of the gorgeous nearby islands & beaches for a spot of swimming & relaxing away from the town. There are loads of other options here too, you could also go exploring on Antiparos island or simply chill on one of Paros’ three main beaches as you relax & soak up the rays. There’s also plenty of shops to keep the keenest of shoppers entertained, or pick up some cute souvenirs to take home. Later, head to a local restaurant for a tasty, local meal, or if you’re up for another night out ask your Tour Manager for some tips on where to head for some cool local vibes. Day 7-8 Paros to Santorini
Today: change islands and it’s a total change of scene. Santorini will make your jaw drop with its stunning natural beauty – the result of a massive volcanic eruption. From the water, look up at the iconic blue–domed, whitewashed churches.Once we’re back on land, take in the fantastic views of the neighbouring volcanic islands.Accommodations: Guesthouse

Day 8-9 Santorini
With a free day, maybe ride a donkey or take a cable car up to the clifftop town of Fira. There's also the option to visit Oia & catch a panoramic view of the island's submerged volcano & sip on a cocktail. Accommodations: Guesthouse

Day 9-10 Santorini to Athens
Set sail back to mainland Greece & the mythological city of Athens. You could toast the end of your tour with an optional farewell dinner in Psiri for a final night of delicious Greek cuisine then head out for a final night with the group. Accommodations: Hotel

Day 10-11 Depart Athens
The tour ends after check-out & it's time to say farewell to your new travel buddies.Or, choose to learn more about the birthplace of democracy with an optional sightseeing tour of Athens. Get the run down on the Parthenon, the Acropolis and the first modern Olympic Stadium with our expert Local Guide.Accommodations:
