Day 1-2 DEPART CANADA
Overnight flight to Munich.

Day 2-3 ARRIVE MUNICH (2 NIGHTS)
Welcome to Munich. Relax after check-in and later enjoy an evening orientation drive including views of the Olympic Stadium. This evening, meet for a Welcome Reception with your fellow travellers and Travel Director.

Day 3-4 MUNICH SIGHTSEEING AND AT LEISURE
Munich is a lively, prosperous medieval city – a perfect blend of traditional and modern. See the sights during your morning orientation including the Hofbräuhaus, Marienplatz, Ludwigstrasse and the majestic Opera House. Spend free time afterwards exploring on your own. Visit galleries and museums, shop for souvenirs or consider an optional excursion to the infamous Dachau Concentration Camp. Munich has a proud history of brewing and this evening you might like to join your companions for a night out at a local beer hall.(Buffet Breakfast)

Day 4-5 MUNICH - OBERAMMERGAU - NEUSCHWANSTEIN CASTLE - INNSBRUCK (2 NIGHTS)
In Oberammergau, see the theatre where the Passion play has been perfomed every decade since 1634 when Europe was gripped by plague. Drive into the scenic Bavarian mountains and arrive by horse and carriage at Neuschwanstein Castle. Experience a guided tour of this fortress, built in the 19th century for King Ludwig on a rugged hill above the village of Hohenschwangau. Arrive later at the famous resort of Innsbruck where you will enjoy dinner at your hotel.(Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)

Day 5-6 INNSBRUCK SIGHTSEEING AND FREE TIME
Your orientation includes views of the Wilten Basilica, Golden Roof and the Hofburg Palace. The rest of the day is yours to do as you please. Explore medieval lanes, visit world-class museums and Hapsburg palaces or simply relax and admire this dazzling city set against a spectacular Alpine backdrop. Tonight you might like to see a traditional Tyrolean folklore show.(Buffet Breakfast)

Day 6-7 INNSBRUCK - BERCHTESGADEN - SALZBURG (2 NIGHTS)
Continue through the picturesque valley of the River Inn and pass the Wilder Kaiser Mountain. Visit the National Park of Berchtesgaden, featuring awe-inspiring mountains. Continue on to Salzburg.(Buffet Breakfast)

Day 7-8 SALZBURG SIGHTSEEING AND AT LEISURE TIME
See the city's sights with your expert Local Guide including the Getreidegasse, Salzburg Cathedral, Mozart’s birthplace and many of the locations used in the film 'The Sound of Music'. Afterwards, discover the delights of Salzburg for yourself. Visit a museum or go shopping for souvenirs. This evening, enjoy a Be My Guest dinner at a local Gasthof.(Buffet Breakfast / Be My Guest dinner)

Day 8-9 SALZBURG - VIENNA (3 NIGHTS)
Visit the Church in Mondsee where the marriage of Captain Von Trapp and Maria was filmed for 'The Sound of Music'. Traverse the Salzkammergut, a picturesque region of mountains and lakes, whose salt deposits brought great wealth to the area. Continue via the Wachau Valley and see Melk Abbey – one of the world's greatest monastic sites. Arrive later in Vienna.(Buffet Breakfast)

Day 9-10 VIENNA SIGHTSEEING AND VIENNA WOODS EXCURSION
Your expert Local Guide reveals the city's major landmarks and palaces during your included morning sightseeing tour. The Imperial Boulevards lead to views of the Opera House, the Hofburg Palace, the Parliament and St. Stephen's Cathedral. The magic continues with a walking tour through the oldest parts of the city near 'Am Hof'. Free time later is an opportunity to indulge in famous pastries like the delicious Sacher Torte. This afternoon, enjoy a scenic drive to Mayerling in the Vienna Woods to view the hunting lodge where Crown Prince Rudolph and his young mistress tragically died in 1898.(Buffet Breakfast)

Day 10-11 VIENNA - AT LEISURE
Spend the day as you wish. Use your complimentary 'hop-on hop-off' sightseeing ticket to discover a wealth of historic and cultural delights. Museums, palaces, galleries, cafés, memorials to famous composers – Vienna has it all. This evening, join your travelling companions and Travel Director for a Farewell Dinner.(Buffet Breakfast / Farewell Dinner)

Day 11-12 VIENNA - CANADA
