Day 1 London to Amsterdam
An early start today as we meet at our London hostel for our drive down toward Dover where we board our ferry. On arriving in Calais we drive to Amsterdam, checking into our hostel smack bang in the middle of the city. This evening, get an introduction to this hip city on a walking tour taking in the heart of the city, Dam Square, as well as the Red Light district.
Day 2 Amsterdam
After breakfast, you have free time to explore the sights of Amsterdam to take in the abundant culture of this city - perhaps paying a visit to the Rijksmuseum, Anne Frank House, or the Van Gogh Museum . This evening is yours to check out the nightlife that Amsterdam is famous for- why not join our optional pub crawl through the infamous Red Light district?
Day 3 Amsterdam
Today the day is yours to further explore the city. Why not do as the locals do by hiring a bike and cruising the streets, or why not join our optional day trip to the Keukenhof flower fields. Tonight explore the city from a different angle on our optional canal cruise, before our final night out in this fabulous city. (B)
Day 4 Amsterdam to London
All good things must come to an end, and so must our trip. But before leaving Amsterdam we make a quick visit to a traditional Dutch farm, to see how cheese and clogs are made – how very Dutch! We then head back to Calais to catch an early afternoon ferry to Dover getting us back to London this evening, where we say goodbye to our new found friends. (B)
*For those wishing to visit museums in Amsterdam it is highly recommended to book tickets online through the individual museums as Amsterdam can be very busy during bank holidays.
