Day 2-3 LONDON (3 NIGHTS)
Welcome to London! Relax or spend time exploring one of the most exciting capital cities in the world. Consider a trip to the Royal Horse Guards or perhaps take a stroll through a Royal Park. This evening meet your companions and Travel Director at a Welcome Pub Reception which includes a typical British pub meal and drinks, and hear details about your upcoming trip!(Welcome Reception)
Day 3-4 LONDON - EXCURSION TO WINDSOR
Visit Windsor Castle, the official residence of the Queen and the largest occupied castle in the world. Built by William the Conqueror to help protect London and the River Thames, it is the Queen’s preferred weekend home. Your included audio tour features full commentary, giving you the freedom to explore the Castle at your own pace. Changing of the Guard usually happens between 11:00 and 11:30. (Please note that there may be occasions when certain areas of the Castle are closed if the Royal Family is in residence). Tonight, why not see one of London’s top stage productions in the West End.(Buffet Breakfast)
Day 4-5 LONDON SIGHTSEEING AND FREE TIME
See Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace on your half day introductory sightseeing tour with an expert Local Guide. Spend the rest of the day exploring the city on your own. You might like to shop in the West End, book an excursion to the Tower of London or visit Madame Tussaud’s. Tonight, consider joining your Travel Director for dinner at a lively restaurant.(Buffet Breakfast)
Day 5-6 LONDON - CHARTWELL - ROYAL TUNBRIDGE WELLS - BRIGHTON (2 NIGHTS)
Visit Chartwell, where Sir Winston Churchill lived with his wife until his death in 1965. Now owned by the National Trust, the house and gardens have been beautifully preserved. Hear about the life of Winston Churchill from a local expert. Then visit Royal Tunbridge Wells, which gained popularity during the 18th century as a spa town. Taste the natural spring water and wander through the Pantiles! Arrive later in Brighton where you dine tonight at your hotel.(Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)
Day 6-7 BRIGHTON - FREE TIME
Plan your day as you wish. Use your included ‘hop-on hop-off’ sightseeing ticket to get around town. Thanks to the Prince Regent, the town has always enjoyed a reputation for elegance, fun and architecture. Brighton has many fine Regency buildings, most notably Lewes Crescent and Brunswick Square. You might like to consider an optional excursion to Leeds Castle. Built 900 years ago, Henry Vlll transformed the castle for Catherine of Aragon, and extensive refurbishment in the last century has made it truly spectacular.(Buffet Breakfast)
Day 7-8 BRIGHTON - PORTSMOUTH (2 NIGHTS)
Enjoy a leisurely start to the day with a drive along the coast to Portsmouth. On Arrival in Portsmouth enjoy an orientation drive and free time to discover this maritime city.(Buffet Breakfast)
Day 8-9 EXCURSION TO THE ISLE OF WIGHT

Day 9-10 PORTSMOUTH - HAMPTON COURT - LONDON
Visit Hampton Court Palace, the most modern, sophisticated and magnificent palace of its age. See the vast Tudor kitchens, and the tapestries in the Great Hall. Discover the grand interior of the Chapel. Lose yourself in the most famous Maze and visit the Privy Garden, restored to its former glory.
