Highlights:
Day 1: Kata Tjuta (the Olgas)
On arrival at Ayers Rock Airport you will be transferred to your hotel (flights to
arrive prior to 1.00pm). Travel to the mystical 36 domes of Kata Tjuta (the
Olgas) stopping en route for panoramic views of its eastern side. Continue to Walpa
Gorge where the walking trail through the gorge follows the natural creek bed between
two of the tallest domes of Kata Tjuta. Enjoy nibbles and a complimentary glass
of wine while watching striking colour changes of Uluru at sunset.

Day 2: Uluru (Ayers Rock)
Rise early and travel to the Uluru sunrise viewing area, to see the Red Centre
set alight by the first rays of the sun. Enjoy a warming cup of tea or coffee and
biscuits as the colours of Uluru gradually change when the sun rises over the
horizon. Commence a base tour of Uluru, including a guided walk into Mutitjulu
Waterhole. View Aboriginal rock paintings and learn about flora, fauna and Aboriginal
history from your Driver/Guide. Continue around the base of Uluru by coach and
see various sacred areas. Visit the Uluru - Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre
where there is time to read the Tjukurpa (Aboriginal law) or purchase some locally made
Aboriginal art. Travel through spectacular desert scenery from Ayers Rock Resort to
Kings Canyon Resort by luxury coach. Pass through Curtin Springs and view Atila (Mt.
Conner). After turning off the Lasseter Highway and on to Luritja Road. Arrive at Kings
Canyon Resort before dusk. To finish off the day you may have time to view the sun set
behind Carmichaels Crag.

Day 3: Kings Canyon - Alice Springs
This morning join your guide for the rocky climb to the rim of magnificent Kings
Canyon, which is located in Watarrka National Park (this is a 3 hour walk and is for
those with a good level of fitness, sturdy footwear required). Or you may wish to
explore the boulder-strewn canyon floor, an easier shady walk. There is time to
purchase lunch at Kings Canyon Resort (own expense) before travelling to Alice
Springs.
Departs: Daily 2.30pm (Mar - Oct) and 3.30pm (Nov - Feb) from Ayers
Rock Resort
Concludes: 7.00pm approximately in Alice Springs
