WestJet operates a current fleet of Boeing and Bombardier aircraft, including Bombardier Q400 NextGen turboprops, Boeing B737 (600-800 series) and B767-300 jets.
The Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 NextGen turboprop is one of the quietest in the sky (the Q stands for quiet) with a built-in noise and vibration suppression system (NVS) and offers a single Economy Class cabin, configured 2 ï¿½ aisle ï¿½ 2, seating 78 guests with a seat pitch of 30-inches/76.2cms.
The larger Boeing B737s (variants 600-800) are configured 3 ï¿½ aisle ï¿½ 3, have a seating capacity of between 113 and 168 passengers, with a seat pitch in Economy Class of 31-33-inches and 33-36-inches in Premium Economy (Plus).
The wide-bodies Boeing B767-300ER (Extended Range), configured 2 ï¿½ 3 ï¿½ 2 (2 ï¿½ 2 - 2 in Plus), is WestJets largest plane accommodating a total of 262 guests. The seat pitch is 31-inches in Economy Class and 38-inches in Premium Economy.
In addition to the above, the airline has ordered 10 Boeing 787-900 Dreamliners, with delivery starting in 2019.
