Flight Centre Canada along with its corporate division, Corporate Traveller, is pleased to announce that Air Transat has won the company’s 5th Annual Sustainable Travel Award established to recognize the industry supplier that has made the greatest effort to minimize their environmental impact. They have shown exceptional leadership applying more than a dozen measures to reduce their carbon emissions including one of the most advanced fuel management programs in the industry, earning the first LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) Platinum award in Canada for their head office, and being named the world’s first certified green airline by the World Green Aviation Council.
