A Culinary Adventure in Ontario & Quebec!
A few months ago, we held a contest to create and win your own intinerary travelling through Ontario and Quebec and we’re pleased to announce that our winner Lindsay Young, will be heading off on her adventure this week!
Lindsay (aka @Lindsontheroad) will be tweeting and blogging all about her time visiting Montreal, Quebec City, Ottawa and Prince Edward County! Follow her on Twitter or by searching the hashtag #FCRoadtrip and stay tuned for her adventures which we’ll be sharing right here on our blog!
Lindsay and her mother are flying to Quebec City and working their way backwards, enjoying the best local produce along the way. Crossing into Ontario, they’ll head to our Nation’s capital sampling the fare in Byward Market and grabbing some local Hogsback beer.
Then it’s onto one of Linday’s favourite parts of Ontario – Prince Edward County.
“It’s unbelievable how delicious and exquisite the produce is there. I’ll spend my time in PEC devouring cheese from Fifth Town (I covet their products), sip wine at Hillier Creek Estates, glug beer at Barley Days Brewery, and nom on all the local produce I can find. After all this indulgence, I think it’ll be time for a workout session!”
Happy Travels Lindsay! We look forward to following your adventures!
