Destination Wedding Décor at Sandals

Having seen her fair share of weddings, Brittany recently went down to Jamaica to see up close and personal what makes Sandals Weddings by Martha Stewart™ so wonderful. From the decor to the location, she breaks down what to expect with three of her favourite themes and what she loves best about them:

Blue ocean, white powder sand and you, your partner and your guests enjoying a beautiful beach wedding at Sandals. Can you picture a more beautiful backdrop?

Sandals is famous for many things including their food, a luxury included vacation, friendly staff, and of course Martha Stewart Weddings. After spending six incredible days in Jamaica and seeing these beautiful weddings for myself, I have been impressed time and time again with the detail and care that goes into these special days.

With over 6 different themes to chose from, the décor is simply unrivaled. And now, you can mix and match any elements from these packages to completely customize your own. As tough as it was, I’ve narrowed it down to my Top 3:

Beautiful Beginnings

This theme is complete with magenta orchids and a cake made perfectly for two. It’s the perfect choice for an intimate and memorable occasion that’s both elegant and simplistic.

Island Paradise

This theme brings the vibrant colors of a Caribbean isle to your celebration. For those who want a beautiful tropical wedding, these bouquets are certainly something too see as they offer a magnificent arrangement of orchids arranged in magenta, pink and orange. Lush banana leaves embellish the bamboo ceremony arch, while natural wood trays filled with tropical fruits and bright blooms serve as the centerpieces

Flutter of Romance

This one is hands down my favourite (being a pink lover myself!) The sassy pink lanterns that hang from the trees during your reception and dinner add just the right amount of light for romance and dancing. Pretty butterflies add a touch of whimsy to menus and place cards, and they also top the pale pink cake or round mini-cakes for a look that’s charming and sweet.

Being a Certified Wedding Coordinator as well as a Certified Destination Wedding Coordinator I can honestly say I have seen my fair share of weddings. Martha Stewart and Sandals put the right touches into these weddings and if you’re looking for the perfect destination wedding, Sandals should definitely be at the top of your list!
