Disney Cruise Line Introduces Marvel Day at Sea

Disney Cruise Line is bringing some of the galaxy’s best and bravest superheroes to the high seas for one of the most exciting cruise ventures on the planet.

Marvel Day at Sea will assemble some of the world’s greatest superheroes and villains to avenge, battle it out, and meet with loyal spectators for one action-filled, Marvel-themed day onboard the Disney Magic.

On top of epic grand battles, there will be meet and greets, appearances, and photo ops with your favourite heroes like Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, and more, as well as music, dancing, arts and crafts, and trivia games on the upper deck, film and TV show screenings in the theatre, themed food and beverages, lots of superfans in costumes, and a spectacular deck party with more dancing and fireworks.

These sailings will be available in the fall of 2017 on select Disney Magic seven- and eight-night Bahamas itineraries on Oct. 6, 14, 28; Nov. 4, 11 and 18, 2017. There will also be one seven-night Canada and New England itinerary, departing Oct. 21, 2017. All itineraries depart from New York City and make stops at Disney’s private island Castaway Cay.

About the Author

Crissandra Ayroso

is a copywriter for Flight Centre. She loves road trips, beach weather, sampling local wine. She, like Helen Hunt in the 1996 disaster-rama (that’s short for drama) Twister, is a tornado chaser, in the travel sense. She chases moments, all revealing. Ephemeral. Whether it’s ordering room service and eating in bed, finding the highest rooftop for the best views of the surroundings, feeling like a small dot in the middle of the ocean on a boat, or getting lost and stumbling upon hidden gems, no moment is too big or small to chase. Just like the category F5 that brought Helen Hunt back together with her estranged husband, respected TV weatherman, Bill Paxton.
