In celebration of International Women’s Day, we’d like to introduce you to some amazing and inspiring Canadian women that share a common passion with us here at Flight Centre; a love for travel.

If you’re not following these ladies yet, we recommend checking out their sites (but be warned, your sense of wanderlust will grow even bigger). Without further adieu here are some women we’d like to recognize today who make us Canadians proud:

Natalia Anja

Natalia Anja

Life is so short, and I feel if we’re not learning, overcoming our fears, and living outside of our daily routines, we’re really not living to our fullest potential.

This 27 year old from Vancouver, BC is setting out to be not only the youngest Canadian female to travel to every UN nation, but also the youngest female EVER to visit every UN nation. She’ll be joining Michael and Alex from Global Degree on their quest to visit every UN nation in the world, and take off to Asia in just a few weeks.

Follow their adventures at Global Degree or visit her website.

Annie Sibonney

“The way that I like to travel is by being fearless in both food and language”

Known as the new ‘Anthony Bourdain of Canada’, Annie is a passionate gastro-nomad who spent 5 years in Spain and launched her show ‘From Spain, with Love. She is now the host of the new food-focused show “One Night Stand” on Discovery World, but this culinary adventurer does a lot more than just eat and drink when she’s on camera. Born to French-Moroccon parents, she is fluent is 5 different languages and is one of the most kind-hearted, yet charismatic people you will ever meet. When she’s not travelling the globe in pursuit of culinary adventure, you’ll find her based in culturally rich Toronto.
