6 Must-See Orlando Tours

6 Must-See Orlando Tours

While every day spent in Orlando is unquestionably unique and unforgettable, an unparalleled array of memorable activities, tours, and encounters beyond the theme park rides and attractions show Orlando’s unique ability to ignite the imagination of travelers.

Here’s a sampling of just some of the ways in which to make a day in Orlando extra-special:

1. Beluga Interaction Program

At SeaWorld Orlando, this program provides a whale of an opportunity to see how trainers care for lovable and curious beluga whales. Guests learn about the behaviors and lifestyle of this lovable cetacean and, as “assistant trainers,” are taught the secret hand signals that prompt the white whales to spin, roll, leap, and splash all in exchange for a pat on the head (and a handful of fish).

2. VIP Tours at Universal

Universal Orlando Resort’s offers VIP Tours which are a guided walking tour through either Universal Studios Florida and/or Islands of Adventure, guests are escorted to the front of the line at rides and attractions, while learning inside secrets behind the creation and operation of popular areas such as The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, The Amazing Adventures of SpiderMan and The Simpsons Ride. Multiple levels of tours may also include complimentary valet parking, refreshments, character meet and greets, a VIP gift, backstage access and discounts on food and merchandise.

3. Wild Africa Trek

This is Disney’s newest tour which takes adventurers on a thrilling three-hour, privately guided VIP safari through Animal Kingdom.  The expedition includes close up encounters with hippos and Nile crocodiles and other exotic creatures.  It also features a safari camp-style dining experience “in the wild” with gazelles almost close enough to touch.ey

4. Astronaut Training Experience

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex offers an Astronaut Training Experience. Along with space shuttle mission simulations, visitors take the helm at “Mission Control” under the supervision of an actual NASA astronaut. An additional ‘exclusive tour’ option allows more extensive access to the Kennedy Space Center with stops at the Space Shuttle launch pads, the International Space Station Center and NASA’s Press Site where the stories of America’s incredible space program were launched around the globe.

5. Brad Brewer Golf Academy Half Day Learn & Play

Not only do you get a computerized swing analysis, but you learn swing fundamentals and mental toughness from Brad Brewer, one of America’s top 100 golf instructors and star of the sport’s most popular network, the Golf Channel.  Practice what you learn with a round at the beautiful Rosen Shingle Creek resort.

6. International HeliTours Cupids Escape Tour

This HeliTour offers a private town-car that takes guests to a private helipad where they board a helicopter to soar over the Orlando skyline towards the world famous fireworks at Epcot while enjoying a glass of champagne accompanied by strawberries.
