This summer, luxury retailer Louis Vuitton will have cruising in the bag, when it launches Onboard, a website devoted to cruise travel.
Published by Onboard Media, which has long specialized in magazines for some of the world’s biggest cruise lines and staffed by industry veterans, Onboard will focus on cruising and travel destinations, offering expert advice and relevant information.
Formally known as LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, the upscale company, through its online cruise site, will not only target the jet set (and ‘ship set’) but everyone from professionals to families who may not have considered cruising before.
Another website that aims to open up cruising to everyone is Cruiseabout which in addition to its existing cruise booking functionality, will continue to augment its pertinent and fun cruise information. Cruiseabout currently has six retails shops in British Columbia, with plans to open more.
