Canadian based, low-cost carrier WestJet Airlines kicks off two new non-stop routes this week, as service from Toronto’s Pearson International Airport to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Calgary International Airport to Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas take flight.
While the two hour flight to Myrtle Beach runs twice weekly, Thursdays and Sundays from May the 2nd, the Calgary to Dallas flights will operate daily as of the 29th of April. As Dallas-Fort Worth is a major hub and connecting point for their new code-share partner American Airlines, this new service will help bolster the agreement and gives their customers the chance to connect to 16 additional U.S. cities on American Airlines and American Eagle operated aircraft and to earn WestJet Dollars (WestJet’s reward program) on all of the legs.
