A Travel Sales Consultant role is both challenging and rewarding. You will work directly with clients and suppliers across the world. The suppliers include organizations like: airlines, accommodation providers, insurance brokers and more. You will learn about their product offerings, pricing structures and booking processes. This way, when a client walks through the door looking for a holiday, you will be able to provide all the services they require and offer them helpful advice.
Of course, sometimes things don't always go to plan. Natural disasters and unforeseen circumstances can wreak havoc on your customer's holiday and you will need to be able to think and act quickly to book alternative travel arrangements.
