Kelowna to Hanoi Flight Deals

Whether you're enjoying a perfectly baked French baguette on the edge of Hoan Kiem Lake or marveling at the deliciousness of ferret-found coffee in a new café in the Old Quarter, it won't take long to realize that Hanoi booms with atmosphere. For a country that has witnessed decades of fighting, Hanoi remains largely intact and looks and feels very much like it did before and throughout it all. Even with new found political stability and a recent economic surge, few new and shiny buildings have been erected maintaining much of the city's enduring charm.

Vietnam's capital bustles as hard as any South Asian city and one experience with the traffic and the overwhelming amount of scooters, motorcycles, bikes, cars and whatever else on the city's many beautiful, tree-lined boulevards will attest to that. Crossing the street here is both an art-form and a test of faith and requires the patience and trust only crossing the streets successfully in Hanoi can deliver but once mastered, it feels like it can be done anywhere.

After years of French colonialism and more than any other city in Vietnam, Hanoi tastefully twists Western flair into its steaming pot of flavours, taking the best of what was left behind to fuse it into one intoxicating, rich and complex broth of goodness. Bakeries that rival those in Paris and some of the world's best coffee are just a day in the life here but surprising and greatly appreciated by anyone visiting. Having said that, if you know what's good for you, do eat local. Some of the world's best street food is, without question, found here. Simply pull up a plastic chair at a street stall and prepare to be dazzled.

Propaganda poster shops, water-puppet theatre, fresh outdoor fruit markets and everyday local life unwinding in the hours after work in Lenin Park are what you are here for. People watching here would be people watching anywhere if it wasn't for the warm and approachable nature of the locals. Not the type to approach? Don't worry, they will approach you. It may seem strange at first but sometimes a 'hello' is really just a 'hello'.
