Revelers have Mardi Gras, sports lovers have the Super Bowl, and dog lovers have the Westminster Kennel Club. As for quilters, our must-see, must-experience-at-least-once-in-our-life-bucket-list event is the incredible International Quilt Festival in Houston, Texas!
Why not realize your dream this year and join Brandy Lynn of Canadian Quilt Talk for a journey to the mecca of all things quilting, and enjoy a trip with a distinctly Canadian flair in the process.
Brandy's tours are intimate, friendly and sized just right, with just enough people to keep things festive, but not too big that you'll get lost in the crowds. This isn't your typical massive American bus tour - with 157 ladies from Kansas cooling their heels in the lobby, waiting for monster buses to cart them off to cookie-cutter attractions. That's not our style.
We small, we're Canadian, and we're the perfect mix of group tour with time for individual exploration. And we are going to rock the Monster Ball on Halloween night with all Canadiana themed costumes! Red and white is in the house!

Brandy Lynn Maslowski has been quilting since her early twenties making her way from clumsy beginner to quilt teacher, speaker and judge. She is host of the Canadian Quilt Talk podcast and author of the children's picture book Kristy's Quilt. She left her career as a 15 year veteran Firefighter to follower her passion with her business as the Quilter on Fire. Her workshops, lectures and custom group tours aim to inspire quilters to expand their toolbox with tips and tricks and then step outside the box with fibre art techniques and break all the rules. She is leading her first quilting cruise to Hawaii this September!
Say goodbye to your new quilting friends, and start to make plans for your next great adventure with Quilter On Fire Custom Group Tours! Return home, or perhaps extend your stay? Ask your travel agent Hayley about visiting Austin, Arizona, or any of the other amazing destinations in the American Southwest.
