Porter Airlines Flights - How to Check in Online

Porter Airlines promises speedy check-in, thanks to shorter lines and swift access to airport gates. Checking in online? You may do so up to 24 hours before your scheduled departure.

Follow these easy steps for Porter Airlines online check-in:

  1. 1. Have your six-digit confirmation number handy, found
  2. 2. Go to www.flyporter.com/en-ca/manage-flights/web-check-in
  3. 3. Enter your confirmation, last name and hit "check-in."
  4. 4. Change your seat, if desired.
  5. 5. Your boarding pass will be sent by email or to your smartphone.

This convenient tool also allows you to select seats and notify Porter of your baggage details prior to departure. Porter will send flight reminders along with your boarding pass in advance. You may visit My Bookings to select your seat up to 24 hours prior to departure. Since this is a "first come, first served" basis, it’s best to confirm this when your boarding pass arrives. If you have already received a seat, you have been you have been automatically checked, but you can visit the Porter Web Check In page to change seats.

Most Porter flights are eligible for Auto-Check in, designed to save you time at the airport. A boarding pass will be sent to you with an assigned seat, so you are automatically checked in. The boarding pass is print-friendly or check to see that you are able to view the electronic version on your Internet-enabled mobile device. You may pre-select seats, up to 24 hours before departure. If you wish to change seats, you may do so online. Please Note: you still must visit the airport desk to check your bags, but you can claim the amount online so the process is more efficient.

For those who prefer to kick it old school, there’s a check-in option at the airport. It is recommended that you arrive two hours in advance for domestic flights and three for international.

Keep in mind, even if you’ve checked in online, if you have checked baggage, you still must go to the check-in counter to have it tagged.
