We’d like to say, Air Canada is pulling out all the stops with their impressive global expansion.

But, we can’t. With even more non-stop international routes, they’re eliminating the stops and making life a heck of a lot easier for travelling Canucks.

Hot off the press releases

Canada’s airline has announced six new additions to its non-stop route repertoire, coming this winter:

Vancouver – Melbourne, Vancouver – Orlando, Toronto – Belize City, Toronto – St. Vincent, Montreal – Lima and Montreal – Phoenix.

We promised near the start of 2017 to keep you posted about the expansion, when we told you about the just-announced Air Canada flights to Iceland.

There’s more good news: these new Air Canada flights are already available for purchase.

With warmer months fast approaching, winter travel may not be at the top of your agenda. But it’s a good time to book flights on Air Canada to these warm destinations, while airfares are at their lowest. Too soon? No matter the time of year, Flight Centre will find you cheap flights on Air Canada.

Air Canada turns over a new Leaf

It’s a big year for the carrier. Not only is it celebrating its 80th anniversary, it released its new Air Canada livery. This coincides with Canada’s 150th birthday year.

A stunning makeover of its fleet, coupled with these appealing new routes, are among the reasons Air Canada is the airline to choose for your next trip.

Find cheap flights from Vancouver on Air Canada

Vancouverites, rejoice!

The long-awaited Vancouver to Melbourne route is no longer a flight of fancy.

Air Canada flights from YVR to MEL will commence seasonal service December 1, 2017, to February 4, 2018. Winter in Canada means summer in Melbourne. AC flights to Melbourne operate four times a week, on board the awesome Air Canada Dreamliner. This Boeing 787 makes this long-haul flight possible, as well as more comfortable. Yet another reason to choose Air Canada to Australia.

Why we love Melbourne

A cosmopolitan city known for its cafés, cuisine and creative pursuits, it’s no wonder Melbourne is considered Australia’s cultural epicentre. But that’s not all—Melbourne is a mecca for nature lovers, home to wildlife you can’t find elsewhere in the world. Meet some cute fairy penguins face-to-face in St. Kilda. And if a drive along the breathtaking Great Ocean Road isn’t on your bucket list, it should be.

So much to do in Orlando

Families in Vancouver can finally take the kids to Walt Disney World in Orlando without worrying about a stopover. The new non-stop route from Vancouver to Orlando makes the journey seamless, without the hassles of gathering up the troops to make a connecting flight. For both parents and kids, this news should be music to their Mickey Mouse ears. This non-stop seasonal service is available Dec. 20, 2017 – Apr. 8, 2018.

Find cheap flights from Toronto on Air Canada

You won’t Belize your eyes

Torontonians will no doubt be grateful for these new Air Canada non-stop routes to sun destinations this winter.

From Toronto International Airport, the flight to Belize City no longer includes a connecting flight, eliminating long security checks in the States. Now, this weekly Air Canada Rouge route is seamless and will take a little over 4 hours. A welcome difference from the almost 7 hour duration of a typical one-stop Toronto to Belize flight. Check it out starting Dec. 15, 2017 – Apr. 13, 2018.

Saint Vincent in an Instant

The idyllic Caribbean island of Saint Vincent may not rank in popularity like neighbouring islands Barbados and Saint Lucia, but with lower tourism numbers, beautiful beaches and now, non-stop flights, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is one to keep on your radar. Fly into St. Vincent from YYZ Dec. 14, 2017 – Apr. 12, 2018.

These expansions are a roundtrip win for all. They give Canadians better travel experiences and developing economies new tourism dollars.

The addition of the Lima service is significant, as it’s the first non-stop South American route Air Canada offers from Montreal (YUL). As an AC hub, travellers from not only Quebec, but the Atlantic provinces, will be offered easier access to Lima, Peru. Service runs from December 16, 2017, to May 27, 2018.

Phoenix rises from the airfares

Winter-weary eastern Canadians can flock to Phoenix on Air Canada Rouge, three times weekly from Montreal. Seasonal service commences Feb 22 and ends May 28, 2018.

Arizona has long been a destination for snowbirds. Its capital, Phoenix, offers stunning desert landscapes, world-class museums and golf, excellent dining and sun, glorious sun.

A Last Word

These additions to the portfolio of places Air Canada flies non-stop are worth checking out. The airline’s remarkable expansion will continue to grow over the year and next. We’ll keep you up to date on the latest Air Canada news, as it proudly flies more aircraft—and more Canadians– to important and international destinations.

Air Canada likes us, they really, really like us! We’re offering low airfares to all these new destinations. Book cheap flights from Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto, as well as other Canadian gateway, with Flight Centre. Book online, contact us in store or at 1 877 967 5302.
