What is an eSIM?
An eSIM is essentially a digital version of the tiny physical chip or SIM card used in mobile devices to connect to carrier networks. The ‘e’ stands for ‘embedded’, meaning your eSIM can be activated online. What will my phone number be?

Are eSIMS safe?
In general, eSIMs are considered more secure than regular SIM cards as they can’t physically be removed or tampered with. With this in mind, eSIMs carry a similar risk to physical SIM cards in terms of hacking, tracking or phishing attacks.
