Live Your Best Life at Hotel Xcaret México

Hotel Xcaret México is part luxe beach holiday, part amusement park thrill – yet, so much more than that. Hotel Xcaret México (pronounced ish-ka–RET) is an exceptional destination in itself. The resort encompasses so much of what makes the Riviera Maya so special. From the natural surroundings to the local culture, Hotel Xcaret and the Riviera Maya are extensions of each other. Hotel Xcaret’s architecture was adapted to the landscape, earning merit for being the first hotel in the Americas to become EarthCheck-certified for its impressive commitment to sustainability and ethical practices since day one.

Seven theme parks are at your doorstep. With Hotel Xcaret’s All-Fun Inclusive program, you have unlimited access to all nine Xcaret parks and Grupo Xcaret tours, in addition to premium dining experiences, sophisticated accommodations, transportation between parks, and airport shuttle. Here’s what else you can expect with a stay at Hotel Xcaret.

It’s all in the details at Hotel Xcaret México

Adding warmth, colours, and textures, locally sourced art can be found throughout the resort. Traditional Mexican art is woven into the details, down to the handmade uniform pieces embroidered by local women in the Yucatan, Oaxaca, and Chiapas. Light fixtures and ceramics are crafted by local artisans in Chetumal and Guadalajara, respectively, adding a warm touch to spaces around the resort.

Every suite has a spectacular view. Whether it’s the ocean, one of the three rivers, the pool or the jungle, a new adventure awaits, just steps from your suite.

Dine and unwind

Spend the day at Muluk Spa, the on-site spa, where you can relax in one of the 21 cabins nestled in natural rock, or opt for a good sweat in a temazcal set deep in the jungle. With the resort’s unique offerings, the spa and wellness program is almost a spiritual experience.

And don’t expect to get bored with the food! With 12 different restaurants and 9 bars to choose from, there’s something for everyone and for every occasion. Sit down for a meal at the casual all-day Mercado La Merced, which looks and feels like an authentic local market in Mexico, and celebrate a special occasion at HA’, a restaurant opened by the first Mexican Michelin Star chef, Carlos Gaytán.

There’s so much to see and do on the resort. Between kayaking rivers and sipping on margaritas at the swing bar, remember to make time for the 7 amusement parks next door.

A fun-filled theme park for every day of the week

Count ‘em. Seven. When you stay at Hotel Xcaret, your admission to all 7 parks is included. That’s one park a day on a 7-day vacation! When you check-in, you’ll get a wristband, which will be like your key to the city. It unlocks access to all the parks (and your hotel room door). Convenient shuttles leave the hotel every 20 minutes. Each park is different and offers a different range of experiences. Tours to Xenotes (an adventure through four types of cenotes) and Xichen (a guided visit to Chichén Itzá) are included, too.

Xcaret is a family-friendly eco-park with over 50 natural and cultural attractions, including a network of underground rivers, caves, beaches, and cultural attractions like a Mayan village. For scale, it’s about 200 acres, the same size as Epcot Centre at Disney World. Don’t miss the Xcaret Mexico Espectacular evening show, one of the highlights of the park! Over 300 actors, artists, singers, and musicians tell the history of Mexico from the pre-Hispanic age to the present day.

Xel Há is a family-friendly water park with a calm, clear blue inlet, perfect for swimming and snorkelling. If you’re feeling adventurous, and not afraid of heights, descend one of four spiral waterslides that tower more than 98.5 feet high. Hike through a jungle trail, walk across a floating bridge, zip line into a water landing, and make a splash at this spectacular water park.

Xplor Park is for the thrill-seeking, extreme adventurer. Fly through the Mayan jungle on a zip-line, off-road in an all-terrain vehicle, explore underground caves, and swim in an underground river.

Xplor Fuego allows you to experience Xplor Park at night, where hundreds of torches illuminate the caves and jungles, and the river turns into ‘lava.’

Xavage is for the extreme Xplor seeker looking for extra challenging, adrenaline-pumping activities. If white water rafting, making it through a demanding obstacle course on an all-terrain vehicle, navigating high-speed on a water jet, or zip-lining through the jungle, sound like the kind of thrills you’re chasing, you might be Xavage-ready. There are four levels of adrenaline to choose from to prove how Xavage you are.

Xoximilco is a floating fiesta theme park! Start the evening with carnival games before embarking on a traditional, colourful gondola. Enjoy dinner and an open bar with a live mariachi, and celebrate the culture and tradition of Xochimilco, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Xenses is a quirky park, sort of like a funhouse for the senses. Here, nothing is what it seems. Walk through a small town where your idea of up and down is tested, and make your way down a path with windows and street lights that will make you feel really small and really big. Stop for a float in a placid saltwater river, and of course, enjoy a glass of lemonade – poured directly from a tree.

Staying at Hotel Xcaret México may change your concept of vacations. Rich with natural wealth, living culture and vibrant parks, no amount of time spent here will seem like enough.

In case seven days at Hotel Xcaret México doesn’t seem long enough, our Better Beach holidays can be customized to your preferences. Holiday your way, for as long as you wish. Our Expert Travellers are here to help.
