The Top 10 Las Vegas Pool Parties

What happened in Vegas… definitely started at one of these pool parties. With endless bottle service, champagne spray guns, some of the hottest headliners performing live, and thousands of square feet of pool and recreational space, Las Vegas has become notoriously well-known for its day club scene over the last 10 years or so. Since pool season is now upon us, we’ve rounded up the 10 most Instagram-worthy Las Vegas pool parties you won’t want to miss.

1. Wet Republic

If you’re looking for one of the single biggest daytime pool party playgrounds on the Strip, start at Wet. Located at the MGM Grand, Wet Republic is a behemoth 54,500 square foot party venue hopping with hot headlining DJs like Calvin Harris, Zedd, and Kaskade, A-list celebs, and revelling partygoers. Make a splash in one of the saltwater pools, relax poolside in a private VIP bungalow or party cabana, and then party down in the open-air covered lounge.

2. Encore Beach Club

An elegant complex located at the Wynn Las Vegas, the Encore Beach Club is the right amount of posh and the right amount of… Vegas. Palm trees line the pool area between 5-star cabanas, brightly coloured daybeds, and a stripper pole in the middle of the pool. The Wynn is one of the few hotels on the Strip that do night-time pool parties andt feature a top roster of DJs like David Guetta and Diplo.

3. Marquee Las Vegas

Anyone who’s anyone will be seen partying poolside at the Marquee Dayclub. Located on the 17th floor of the Cosmopolitan, Marquee draws in A-list celebrities like Rihanna and some of the biggest names in house DJs to this mid-Strip hot spot. Cabanas with private hot tubs, infinity pools, party deck, and a pool that’s open year-round, Marquee Dayclub is a sprawling complex. Attached to the Dayclub is the Marquee Nightclub, equipped with state of the audio-visuals and 32,000-watt subwoofers.

4. TAO Nightclub

When the party is on a rooftop, you know it’s going to be a good one. TAO Beach is located at the top of the Venetian where you’ll get some of the best views of the Strip. The Bali-inspired oasis has a TAO-themed restaurant, bar, lounge, banquet space, and TAO Nightclub – one of the longest-running and most successful nightclubs in Vegas.

5. Rehab Las Vegas

A post shared by REHAB Beach Club (@rehablv) on

One of the OGs of Vegas pool parties, Rehab, located at the Hard Rock Hotel, is one of the liveliest in town. DJs sound the hits, while Rehabbers feed their party addictions as they waterslide into a sandy beach pool, or make bets at the swim-up blackjack table. To escape for some quiet time, hang out in one of the private cabanas, or kick back in the Breathe Pool Ultra Lounge at the back for some R&R.

6. Daylight Beach Club

If the pool is 5,000 square feet, it only makes sense that it’s surrounded with 70 daybeds, 25 cabanas, and 6 LED screens. Daylight Beach Club at the Mandalay Bay is as huge as the big name acts it features, from new rappers on the scene to EDM superstar DJs, as well as special one-off events from artists welcomed to the stage, like Ice Cube. Come for one of the best pools in Vegas, stay for the flashy entertainment.

7. Drai’s Beachclub

Sitting on the 11th floor rooftop of The Cromwell is Drai’s Beachclub, decked out with two large pools, VIP cabanas, a private pool on the second level, and five additional bungalows overlooking the Strip. On Tuesday nights, stick around for Drai’s Nightsplash for a late night pool party. For the 24-hour party people, day clubbers won’t have to go very far come night time – Drai’s After Hours keeps the party going. With more than 7,000 square feet of LED video screens, a state of the art lighting system, an 80-sided LED disco ball, (and 75 bottle service tables), this night club is also one of the best live music venues on the Strip. Upcoming live acts include Snoop Dogg (Snoop Lion?), Big Sean, Nelly, and 2 Chainz.

8. Venus Pool Club

One of six pools in Caesars’ Garden of the Gods complex, the Venus Pool Club is a smaller, laid-back, refined private space for those 21 years of age and over. It’s more relaxed than other pool clubs making it an appealing option for those looking to spend a lazy day in the sun. Lounge in comfort in one of the cabanas, day beds, or lounge beds, dine on fresh fruit and light treats, and build up your summer tan.

9. Palms Pool & Day Club

Palms Pool has a widely held reputation for turning up the party to 11. Its famous “Ditch Fridays” initiates weekend-eager warriors to stop working hard and start playing hard. What better way than with bottle service and champagne spray guns? Hide out in a private cabana, enjoy the outdoors with a turn at an Xbox, PS3, or NES, head straight to one of the three bars, or, oh yeah, there’s a huge pool to cool off in when things heat up under the Las Vegas sun.

10. Liquid Pool Lounge

It’s the perfect party for those who just want to show up for the music, lounge poolside, and enjoy a cocktail in a smaller, more intimate setting. Since this is Las Vegas, a smaller space is still about 1,200 square feet, but in comparison, small compared to other monstrous venues like Drai’s and Wet. Aria has three other quieter pools located within the resort, in addition to the Liquid Pool Lounge, for those looking to escape the crowds (or work through a hangover).

When Does the Vegas Pool Party Season Begin?

Arriving fashionably late for a Las Vegas pool party is one thing, but completely missing it is another. Vegas pool party season begins as soon as the desert sun warms up again, usually early to mid-March. Pools are closed for about 4-5 months of the year, approximately October to February, depending on the winter. For the party people who want a year-round option, there are a few day clubs like Marquee that remain open year-round. Marquee’s clever built-in dome covers the pool area when the weather starts to get cold.

Crissandra Ayroso

is a copywriter for Flight Centre. She loves road trips, beach weather, sampling local wine. She, like Helen Hunt in the 1996 disaster-rama (that’s short for drama) Twister, is a tornado chaser, in the travel sense. She chases moments, all revealing. Ephemeral. Whether it’s ordering room service and eating in bed, finding the highest rooftop for the best views of the surroundings, feeling like a small dot in the middle of the ocean on a boat, or getting lost and stumbling upon hidden gems, no moment is too big or small to chase. Just like the category F5 that brought Helen Hunt back together with her estranged husband, respected TV weatherman, Bill Paxton.
