Pay for Business Class and Fly First with British Airways
Yep, this is real – no need to pinch yourself.
To give their Business Class travellers a taste of sitting at the absolute front of the bus, British Airways has just come out with a brilliant new promotion. For a limited time, the airline will upgrade your international Business Class ticket to a First Class seat at no charge.
The upgrade will depend on space up front, of course, and will apply to one-way service on a round-trip journey.
The best part may be the validity of the promotion with upgradeable bookings allowed up until December 2nd, 2016. All outbound travel must commence no later than December 23rd, 2016, taking advantage of the usually blacked-out holiday season.
Bookings must be made using eligible published fares in either R, D or C class, as well as the fully-flexible J class Club World (Business Class) fare. Travel is allowed on most designated British Airways flights, code-share or not, including service on flights operated by partner airlines American Airlines, Finnair and Iberia. As long as the flight is booked using the British Airways flight number in the appropriate class of service, you are good to go.
We’re talking access to British Airways’ luxurious First Lounges worldwide, front-of-the-line service at check-in counters and priority baggage handling, a fully-stocked on-board amenity kit and champagne as soon as you find your seat – or should we say suite? Chef inspired a la carte menus and Egyptian cotton duvets on 6.5-feet of quilted lie-flat goodness, spa treatments and up to 3 checked bags weighing 32kg/70lbs each round out the experience that will make it hard to go back to anything but First – and that’s the plan.
From Canada, British Airways offers travellers twice-daily non-stop flights between Toronto and London’s Heathrow Airport as well as once daily non-stop flights from Vancouver, Calgary and Montreal. Connections can be made throughout Europe and on the rest of British Airways’ extensive worldwide network using some of the industry’s latest equipment.
