Sandals Royal Bahamian: Tastes from around the World at one Luxurious Resort

Looking for an all-inclusive resort that offers the best selection of food from around the world? Our Travel Expert Esther Weber shares why you need to experience Sandals Royal Bahamian in Nassau, Bahamas.

Having recently travelled to Nassau, Bahamas and staying at the beautiful Sandals Royal Bahamian Resort I can honestly say I’ve never experienced this level of fine dining at any other resort. Whether you’re a genuine foodie, an experienced world traveller with a vast pallet, or someone who has strict dietary restrictions, the Royal Bahamian will not disappoint.

They wow their guests with an amazing ten choices of specialty restaurants, each offering a unique selection of dining experiences. Your taste buds will suffer from jet lag as you enjoy decadent meals from France, Italy, The Caribbean, Asia and Great Britain. If you have trouble like I did and can’t decide between two or even three dishes, the chef will happily supply a mixed portion of different entrees. Or if you’re really loving the look of the appetizers that night, skip the entrees all together and order several appetizers instead!

For travellers with specific dietary restrictions or food allergies, the resort is very accommodating. Ask your Flight Centre Travel Consultant to let the resort know before your arrival if you require anything such as soy, gluten free etc. so they are prepared before you arrive. All the restaurants offer vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free options.

Every afternoon, the Royal Bahamian also offers guest a genuine High Tea experience. Take a break from the beach and pools and sip a relaxing cup of specialty tea while enjoying delicious scones with whipped butter, cucumber sandwiches and petit fours. Even the Dowager Countess of Grantham couldn’t ask for more.

With it’s beautiful rooms, friendly helpful staff, pristine pools, white sandy beaches and blue ocean, the  Sandals Royal Bahamian was definitely the relaxing, first class vacation experience I’ve come to expect at all Sandals resorts. For this experienced resort traveller with a PhD in ‘maxin and relaxin’, it was the fine international dining and top notch cuisine at the Royal Bahamian that made me wish my return flight was delayed about seven more days.
