Flights Guide

Many of the world's airlines are members of alliances.

Alliances are groups of airlines that cooperate in various ways, such as earning and redemption of a member airlines' frequent flyer points while flying on any of the member airlines, lounge access for premium travellers worldwide, checked baggage and alliance airfares (such as Round the World tickets). They also often share flights, known as 'code-sharing' meaning an airline will sell seats on a partner airline that operates it. Code-sharing translates into more departure times and flights to choose from on certain routes as well as quicker and more direct access to many destinations.
