Phi Phi Island Vacation Deals

Many travellers come for the day, which obviously puts things on a pretty strict time schedule. If you’re looking to really enjoy the island, two to three days would be ideal. If you plan to do some diving or island hopping, consider another couple of days. 

Absolutely! There are plenty of beaches surrounding Phi Phi where you can swim and snorkel. The only place you wouldn’t want to swim is Tonsai Bay as it’s a port for the boats coming and going.

The peak tourist season in Phi Phi is between November and April. The weather is generally pretty pleasant although the summer season spans from January to April – expect it to be hot and busy.

Get your daily step count by heading up to Phi Phi Viewpoint, chat with friendly locals in Tonsai Village, get a massage, take a cooking class, go fishing, cliff jump (through an organised tour), island hop, snorkel – for a tiny island, there’s actually an extraordinary amount of ways to fill your days.

On Phi Phi, there’s only three modes of transport – walking, longtail boat or bicycle. Generally everywhere is accessible by foot.

A pair of reef shoes would be ideal if you plan to climb across rocks as some of them can be razor sharp. Otherwise, swimmers, comfortable shoes and casual clothes would be sufficient.

It depends how long you have. If you are on a day trip, head up to Phi Phi Viewpoint for a stunning view of the island and explore the main village before finding a patch of sand with your name on it. If you have more time, visit Maya Bay, Bamboo Island and Viking Cave on Koh Phi Phi Leh.
